These past few weeks I've been absent from the frost-covered trees of Northern Nevada in exchange for the bright Caribbean sun. I will be posting some pictures of our wedding and honeymoon shortly, but until then I will give a brief synopsis of our honeymoon.

We left Reno on a Tuesday bound for Ft. Lauderdale and our Carnival cruise. The sun was warm in Florida and was a nice change for us newly-weds. Our ship left on Thursday bound for St. Maarten in the Caribbean as our excitement continued to build. Our ship, the Carnival Legend, was absolutely beautiful! Being barely three years old, many of its parts were like new. The ship had a beautiful 10-story atrium, pools, an amazing multi-million dollar stage and sound system, and awesome service. Then came the food...and as much as we could eat. Every night was a 4 course meal served in an upscale restaurant. The food was amazing.

The islands were great, but not quite as expected. We visited St. Maarten, Barbados and Martinique, but we only had about 8 hours on each island. As a result, we couldn't do some activities that we had hoped. But nonetheless we had a fantastic voyage and honeymoon!

P.S. - I'll post some pics soon!
