Google recently blogged about their newly launched Google For Non-Profits, essentially a portal for non-profit to use existing Google tools to aid and advance charity organizations. Many of the services offered, such as Docs, Calendar, and Blogger aren't news to me.
What I did find interesting, however, was the site's free online advertising platform as well as allowing for transaction fee free donations on one's website. Through Google Grants, charities have the opportunity to advertise on Google's Adwords platform for free to help raise awareness about the charity.
Charities have the ability to step up their web marketing efforts and overall web presence with these new offerings from Google.
