Olivia Marie

Hello there! My name is Olivia but most people call me Liv. I wanted to share a little about myself and why I decided to create this blog. I love to do almost all things outdoors, some of my favorites are rock climbing, backpacking, kayaking and slacklining. I sound super fit but I can never pass up a side of fries and a good old classic Netflix binge. I am a loud and proud extrovert that loves Jesus more than anything. I strive everyday to be a reflection of Him. Next to Jesus sacrificing His life for me and God's grace, coffee makes a high ranking on the list of the "What Liv is most thankful for".

I grew up in the church, but was born again after a five year hiatus in 2018 when I fully surrendered and submitted myself to God- and boy has it been growing, transformative, and amazing since. The reason I decided to create this blog, or perhaps, finally listen to God's voice telling me to do so is simply because God has given me a passion for writing and the downloads He gives leave me in awe every single time. 1 Peter 4:10 says " Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms."  I firmly believe that the gifts God has strategically and purposefully given us is not only for us but also to be shared with others. It would be selfish of me to hold onto the words, downloads and revelations God has given me. God speaks to me in unique ways and before I post or share with anyone, I ask God, "Lord who do you desire for me to share this with?" He will either inspire a written piece or place a person's name on my heart. It is my obligation as a servant to be obedient to God because I may be writing down the words, but ultimately it is coming from Him- He's the brains of the operation, I just let Him use me as a vessel as He commands.

I work part time slaying coffee and part time as an Intercessory Missionary at the House of Prayer Sacramento. Helping to build night and day prayer and worship unto the Lord. My occupation is coffee and prayer, wow; I never would have planned this for my life but I'm so glad this is where I am. The Father's plan and guidance is perfect, even when I can't see it. My goal and where I know the Lord is leading me is to become a full time missionary with HOPS. Until financial partnerships make it possible, I will be doing coffee and prayer until then. So, after hearing multiple echoes from God and endless encouragement from friends and mentors in my life, I jumped in and created this blog. This hopefully will serve as a platform that encourages, helps you grow in relationship with Christ and gets you digging deep in your Bible to turn knowledge into heavenly wisdom.
